The Music Department at Dordt University seeks a part time adjunct faculty member to serve as a private vocal instructor. The primary responsibility will be teaching 30-minute weekly lessons for 10-15 voice students. Other responsibilities will include arranging for student performances at Dordt and NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) events, adjudicating private lesson exams for all department voice students at the end of each semester, and communicating with other adjunct vocal instructors and the Director of Choral Activities about student progress. A master's degree is required, as is commitment to teaching from the perspective of the Reformed faith.
