Position Summary
The Department of English at The University at Buffalo, SUNY is seeking applications for 2 Assistant Teaching Professors (official state title: Clinical Assistant Professor) positions, to teach first-year composition as well as upper-level writing classes.
The positions are primarily teaching positions, with a 4-4 load. These are full-time, non-tenure-track faculty positions with an academic-year (10-month) obligation. The initial appointment is a three-year contract with possibility of future renewal, contingent upon performance, department need, and availability of program funding.

- Terminal degree (ex., MFA or PhD) in English, Rhetoric and Composition, or other related field.
- Experience teaching first year composition and second-level writing courses (Writing Across the Curriculum or Writing in the Disciplines courses).
