Tenure Track Faculty Position in Educational Studies - Global Multicultural Education & TESOL

The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Department of Educational Studies seeks to hire an Assistant Professor with expertise in global education foundations, multicultural education, and teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) instruction for a full-time tenure-track position, to begin August 28, 2023. The successful candidate will be a member of a diverse department that serves early childhood education, elementary/middle education, special education (K-12), and TESOL (K-12) programs.
 

We seek an educator and scholar who actively connects theory and practice in the classroom, advances the field of teacher education, and brings a current understanding of pedagogical best practices to their teaching, scholarship, and service. Candidates with expertise in global education foundations, multicultural education, and TESOL and who have experience teaching courses with culturally, linguistically, and economically diverse students are strongly encouraged to apply. Courses taught will include, but are not limited to School, Society, and Teachers (EDS 203), Multicultural Education (EDS 206), Teaching Global Perspectives across the Curriculum (EDS 309), and Educating Multilingual Learners (TSL 250).
