Start Date: January 2023
Dordt University is currently seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach Lifespan Development in the Psychology department. The course will need to be taught online in the Spring 2023 term. Course dates run from January 12 - May 11, 2023, with student grades due on May 17. Our institution uses the Canvas learning management system, and resources are available to help with planning. Lifespan Development requires students to study the growth and maturation of persons throughout the entire lifespan, including examination of physical, cognitive, personality, social changes, faith development, and other developmental tasks.
Candidates should have excellent communication skills, mature interpersonal skills, and an ability to work independently. A master's degree is required, and online teaching experience is strongly preferred.
Qualified candidates are committed to a Reformed Christian perspective and the ability to articulate that perspective well in the context of this field. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
Dordt University endeavors to diversify its staff within the framework of its mission. The commitment of the university to nondiscrimination on the basis of age, color, disability, gender, national or ethnic origin, or race is consistent with federal and state requirements for nondiscrimination in employment.
