Position Overview

The Interprofessional Project Administrator will provide administrative management of several projects within The Center. This position will plan, execute, and manage programmatic activities between The Center and the health professional programs and schools/college, MCV Campus leadership, and identified stakeholders. In addition, this role will use tools and techniques effectively to organize and analyze information, perform budgetary and procurement duties, and support strategic development programs and activities.

Required Qualifications

– Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
– Working knowledge and applications of current Project Management Institute (PMI) standards (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Disciplined Agile, etc.)
– Proficient in ubiquitous computing software (e.g., Google Suite, MS Office suite, etc.)
– Demonstrated problem solving skills, independent critical thinking skills, effective time management, and effective communication skills
– Eligible to sit for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar PMI credentialing exam within 12 months of hire
– Excellent judgment and discretion regarding confidential information
– Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as an employee at VCU

Preferred Qualifications

– Working knowledge of survey and data management software (e.g., Qualtrics, REDCap, SPSS, R, etc.)
– Knowledge of VCU operations and systems (e.g., RealSource, Banner, etc.)
