Landmark College (LC) is highly entrepreneurial college for bright neurodivergent students with learning differences (LD; including dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and executive function challenges). Whether at the Putney, Vermont flagship campus, through LC Online, or at our west coast Success Center, Landmark is a traditional, fully accredited, institution that provides an intentionally designed, resource-rich academic and student life model.
The College is in a growth phase for its residential and LC Online programs. Specifically, LC seeks two full-time Assistant Professors in Life Science. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive faculty group housed in a new STEM facility, focused on delivering. Life Sciences-related programs and experiences.
The successful applicants will be broadly trained biologists with primary expertise in molecular/cellular biology, biochemistry, or similar. The successful candidates will also have the ability to contribute to teaching of chemistry, environmental science, and other related courses. Active participation in departmental and College activities as part of service is expected. Engagement with undergraduate students in discovery research programs, is highly desirable. A terminal degree or commensurate experience in the discipline or a related field is highly desirable, A working understanding of the nature of specific learning disabilities and teaching experience at the college level are also highly desirable.
