HISTORY OF SCIENCE FACULTY POSITION, FLORIDA TECH

Florida Tech invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in the history of science and medicine, to begin in August 2023. Preference will be given to candidates with an area of specialization in the modern period with at least two years of teaching experience at the university level who can (a) teach undergraduate courses in the history of science, medicine, and technology (ancient, medieval, and modern); (b) develop undergraduate courses in their area of specialization; (c) contribute to the teaching of the general education humanities core curriculum; (d) develop courses that contribute to building bridges between the School of Arts and Communication and the College of Engineering and Science. All candidates must have a Ph.D. at the time of appointment. The School of Arts and Communication is part of the College of Psychology and Liberal Arts at Florida Tech. We are a small, collegial faculty committed to developing the liberal arts within a STEM university

U.S. HISTORY FACULTY POSITION, FLORIDA TECH

Florida Institute of Technology invites applications for a full-time, teaching-track faculty position of assistant professor of literature in the School of Arts and Communication, to begin in August 2023. Preference will be given to candidates with a specialization in twentieth- or twenty-first-century American literature and at least two years’ experience teaching at the university level. We are seeking candidates with a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service who will embody our emphasis on student success. FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGY FACULTY POSITION, FLORIDA TECH

 

Florida Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure track faculty position (assistant or associate level considered) for the undergraduate forensic psychology program within the School of Psychology, to begin in August 2023. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in psychology and law and the ability to teach undergraduate courses in legal psychology, social psychology, and research methods and statistics. We are seeking candidates with a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service who will embody our emphasis on student success. Specific responsibilities include: (a) teaching undergraduate courses in forensic psychology and psychology (b) conducting high quality, programmatic research with undergraduate involvement, (c) seeking research funding, and (d) advising and mentoring undergraduate students.
