Dordt University is currently seeking a full-time faculty member to teach and advise within growing graduate and undergraduate Special Education programs, produce and conduct scholarly work in areas of interest, and contribute to a vibrant community within the department.

Candidates will have the opportunity to teach courses aligned to the candidate's gifts and focus. Faculty also will advise special education students and serve on institutional committees while pursuing excellence in instructional responsibilities, intellectual contributions, and professional service. While a doctorate in special education is desired, highly qualified candidates with a master's degree in special education or a related field may be considered.

The successful candidate will collaborate with a visionary faculty and teach using curricular and pedagogical best practices. In addition to teaching, this position will also include participation as a full team member in department and university administrative tasks (such as curriculum development and review, assessment, development of new initiatives, student recruiting and advising, and committee assignments.
