Job Description Summary
Prince George’s Community College seeks an experienced and skilled leader with strong communication skills who is driven by the opportunity to develop organizational best practices that are rooted within a mission-driven organization. Reporting to the President, the Vice President for Equity, Culture, and Talent is a critical thought partner who will establish and implement Equity, Culture, and Talent ( ECT ) efforts that effectively communicate and support the College’s mission and strategic goals, and elevate operations across the institution. Informed by the strategic plan, the PGCC Core Commitments, and best-practices in organizational and talent development, the Vice President will develop equity-minded processes and policies that will advance PGCC staffing standards and justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion ( JEDI ) initiatives. The VPECT has oversight of a team of 30 dedicated staff and is responsible for the oversight of a $2.5M budget. Direct reports to the VPECT include:
