Job Description
The Opportunity:
The School of Business invites applications for a faculty position teaching courses in Marketing. This is a full-time, nine-month, tenure track position beginning August 16, 2023. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The School of Business, housed in the nation’s one and only College of Business, Security and Intelligence, offers business programs that are accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). In addition, the Aviation Business Administration majors are accredited by the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI). The School of Business is one of the only schools in the nation to offer an undergraduate forensic accounting degree in a traditional, on-campus environment. The Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination (FAFE) program is designed to help students meet the federal requirements to be hired immediately by the FBI, CIA, DEA, IRS and many other government agencies. The School is also a Boeing focus school for Supply Chain Management— a priority unit from which Boeing recruits supply chain management personnel.

General Duties & Responsibilities
The teaching load is generally three to four courses per semester. The individual filling this position should demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching undergraduate courses in, although not limited to, Introduction to Marketing, Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, and/or Sales Analytics.
Candidates should also show evidence of scholarly research and professional activities including in-field research publication or promising progress toward publication, grant writing, and other external funding opportunities, and willingness to engage in college and university service.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are a Master’s degree in Marketing or related field and previous teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. or D.B.A. degree in marketing completed by the appointment start date of August 16, 2023. Demonstrated (or high potential for) teaching excellence in the areas of Intro to Marketing, Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics or Sales Analytics, and other courses related to the candidate’s qualifications. Strong potential in conducting scholarly research.
