The Computer Science Department at Stonehill College seeks applications for a part-time adjunct faculty position for the Spring 2023 semester which commences on January 17, 2023. The position involves teaching introductory computer science and data science courses as well as upper-level courses in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data visualization. Adjunct faculty appointments typically involve teaching one or two courses in a semester. We expect the adjunct faculty to teach Artificial Intelligence in the Spring 2023 semester.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned classes. 
  • Create a Syllabus.
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of student enrollment, attendance, and academic progress.
  • Provide academic assistance and related services to students during scheduled office hours.
  • Review coursework by students and provide specific, highly qualitative, and useful feedback.

Education & Experience

At least a master’s degree in a STEM field related to Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning. A Ph.D. Computer Science is preferred. Proficiency in a discipline related to Artificial Intelligence as well as solid mathematics background is required.
