The physics  search is part of larger cluster hire at Rutgers-Camden in the area of sustainability;  the other three searches are part of a larger cluster hire at Rutgers-Camden in the area of health equity to contribute to a newly developed graduate program in Prevention Science. All searches are  supported by funds from the Rutgers Presidential Diversity Hiring Initiative (https://academicaffairs.rutgers.edu/academics/investing-faculty-diversity-rutgers/strategic-diversity-cluster-hiring). As such, the successful candidate is also expected to be an active participant in the sustainability or health equity cluster and its associated activities.

 

The Faculty of Arts and Sciences are the largest academic unit at Rutgers–Camden, delivering a wide array of degree programs at the baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral levels in the humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, and fine arts. The Faculty of Arts and Sciences includes three schools: the College of Arts and Sciences, University College, and the Graduate School.
