The Center for Innovations in Teaching and Learning (CITL) at the University of California, Santa Cruz invites applications for an Education Specialist position with a focus on Graduate Student & Postdoc Development.
Reporting to CITL's Associate Director for Graduate Programs and working collaboratively with colleagues in CITL and Online Education, the Education Specialist will develop and facilitate research-based, interactive programs, workshops, and resources on equity-minded teaching. The primary focus of the position will be on professional development programs for graduate students and postdocs across all disciplines, through the coordination, development, and facilitation of pedagogical programs, consultations, and resource-building.

Beyond that primary focus, the position will also support programs, workshops, and resources for faculty, especially in their roles as mentors of graduate students. CITL is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to a culture of equity-mindedness and a strengths-based approach both to student learning and to serving our educator community.
