POSITION:              USER SUPPORT SERVICES MANAGER

Responsibilities: Under limited supervision, the User Support Services Manager leads a team of support personnel who troubleshoot IT issues; implements policies and procedures regarding problems that are identified, received, documented, distributed, and corrected.  Ensures maximum issue resolutions in minimum time. Plans and implements information technology training programs and workshops, and assists faculty, staff and students with computer usage and other technology problems.  Supervises professional technicians and directs the Student Technology Assistance (STARs+) Program. Reports to the Director of Information Technology.

Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree in computer technology, management, business or related field supplemented by one to two years of experience in computer technology /technology education, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
