Visiting or Assistant Teaching Professor, Computer and Information Science

Gannon University's School of Engineering and Computing has several visiting faculty positions in the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Computer and Information Science department. Eligible candidates will be consider for teaching-track positions. The appointments for these 1-year renewable positions begin August 2023. The successful candidate will teach in Computer Science and related areas of computer and information science at the undergraduate and graduate levels; prepare motivated students intellectually, professionally, and personally; and lead undergraduate and graduate projects.

Requirements include a Ph.D. in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a closely related computing field. Although Ph.D. is preferred, ABDs, soon-to-be-completed Ph.D., and master's degree with substantial work experience will be considered. A track record of successful project leadership and industrial experience is also preferred. Candidates must support and promote the University's inclusive Mission, its Catholic identity, and its liberal arts and professional education traditions.
