Job Description
Candidates interested in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a focus on finance and accounting are invited to apply to join the Finance Team within the KE Finance. Individuals who possess excellent customer service skills, value continuous improvement, and are interested in learning the principles of procurement, financial reporting and accounting are desired. This is an entry level position with opportunities for growth in the Finance Manager career track.

Essential Duties
- Assists with procurement, budget forecasting, and account reconciliation.
- Assists with administrative post award management including at-risks, pre-award costs, re-budgets, no cost extensions, and all other account actions.
- Under direction, processes transfers (both payroll and non-payroll) to adjust/correct expenditures.
- Process financial transactions from multiple funding sources (i.e., state, local, grant)
- Assists ASU research investigators with renewals and periodic reports for grant agencies.
- Under supervision, works in conjunction with ORSPA and ASU research investigator to ensure timely and accurate post-award accounting of grants and contracts.
- Identify specific areas and solutions for process improvement, and draft changes to methods, procedures, and work instructions.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field; OR, any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

- Evidence of effective communication skills.
- Evidence of ability to understand user needs, requirements, and requests.
- Experience in customer service roles with high quality standards.
- Experience in using personal computer and related software applications.
- Experience in following directions set by supervisor.
- Knowledge of Financial reporting
- Experience in Office O365 office (excel, word, outlook)
- Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
Working Environment
- Climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting.
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity associated with daily use of desktop computer;
- Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential duties.
- Expected to be responsive to customers, engaged in work production, resourceful, flexible, and respectful of others.
