Works with recruiting organizations providing relevant services to connect them to Skidmore students and alumni, manages the online job listing and on campus recruiting programs, career and job fairs and industry expos and employer information sessions and site visits. Serves as liaison to the Office of Communications and Marketing. Manages outreach and analytics for First Destinations survey; responds to data requests on post-grad outcomes.

Master's preferred
  • 5-7+ years of experience in career development preferred
  • Experience managing career fairs and on-campus recruitment programs preferred
  • Proficiency in analytical and assessment skills (MS Excel, Qualtrics) with ability to analyze data, write reports and present to a variety of internal and external constituents
  • Career counseling/advising experience required
  • Strong abilities in time management, event organization, and managing multiple projects and details
  • Adept at creating and evaluating new processes and procedures
  • Ability to work with many partners across many departments and teams
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with students, college staff, faculty, and employers
  • Knowledge of social justice and strategies for promoting equity and inclusivity in a higher education environment
  • Ability to interpret, compile and promote occupational, educational and economical information that will assist students in their career planning
  • Knowledge of international student exchange and visitor regulations
  • Ability to interpret and operationalize professional guideline standards to inform work, including the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Professional Standards for College and University and Career Services, Section XI: Access, Diversity, and Equity
  • Valid New York State Driver's License
  • 1-3+ years experience with diverse student population

During the fall and spring semesters, eligible employees may request to work one (1) day per week remotely. During the winter and summer breaks, eligible staff may request to work up to two (2) days per week remotely.

Pay Range: Commensurate with experience
