Saxon Inn Part-time Housekeeper

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning Inn: cleaning of bathrooms, changing sheets, vacuuming carpets, dusting all furniture and wall hangings. Rooms need to be cleaned and inspected for the next guest use. Any maintenance problems (i.e. shower not working, noisy air conditioners, outlets not working) must be turned in for work orders. Hallways need to be vacuumed and dusted for public view. Meeting rooms need to be dusted, vacuumed, and picked up for the next function. Breakfast room needs to be checked periodically during breakfast hours to replenish the various items that have been depleted, and then the tables need to be cleaned and reset. Cleaning kitchen and breakfast area after breakfast is over. Public bathrooms are also cleaned daily for public view
• Assist manager in ordering of all guest and cleaning supplies when needed. Inventory on a monthly basis is done to ensure that there will be enough products to meet occupancy needs.
• Laundry: Washing all soiled laundry from guest rooms and breakfast room. Folding all clean laundry and replacing on proper shelf.
• Setting up Meeting Rooms: Assist in set up of meeting room for incoming groups. This involves arranging types in requested styles. Preparation and clean up of breaks and lunches delivered from catering.
