The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the field of Macroeconomics effective August 2023.

The candidate is expected to conduct research at the leading edge of their field; teach economics courses at the undergraduate and graduate level; serve as a research mentor to doctoral students; and interact effectively with colleagues to support and enhance the intellectual atmosphere of the department.

We are especially interested in applicants who can strengthen the diversity of the academic community. We welcome candidates whose experience in research, teaching, and service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence.

Review of candidates will begin November 15, 2022 and will continue until the position is filled. The department will conduct virtual first-round interviews, followed by in-person interviews for selected candidates.

Qualifications :

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Economics or are expected to complete their Ph.D. by August 2023.
