Job Summary

This position is third-party funded until June 30th and subject for possible renewal

Serve as site supervisor and assist the Director of Industry Partnerships or designee with the operation of the division’s programs and services administered by CCRI at the Westerly Education Center. This position is responsible for providing extraordinary customer service to students, instructors, faculty, staff, partners and visitors.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Supervise and manage instructors assigned to teach classes at the Westerly Education Center.
· Maintain efficient and effective coordination and communication with all College staff and faculty resources.
· Complete hourly check-ins for all classes to ensure proper instruction and safety of programming.
· Assist with instructor and personnel issues as they arise.
· Provide assistance to all staff, instructors and teacher assistants as necessary.
· Coordinate training logistics including but not limited to, planning, organizing and facilitating training sessions, tracking attendance and completing any necessary follow-up with instructors and students.
· Coach and advise students when student issues arise.
· Ensure that all requirements for workforce programs are met, tracked and documented as needed.
· Consult and collaborate with the Director of Industry Partnerships or designee, to develop, update and/or revise orientation, education and development programs as directed to ensure that programs are accurate, comprehensive and up to date.
· Set up training workshops for CCRI instructors and teacher assistants who teach at the Westerly Education Center in order to familiarize them with classroom instruction, curriculum delivery, student learning styles, and more.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

· Computer spreadsheet, database and word processing experience required.
· Must be able to work independently and apply good decision-making skills.
· Must be an energetic self-starter, comfortable working in a busy, diverse environment.
· Incumbent must be a poised, professional and energetic with a positive and confident demeanor

Competencies

· Associate’s degree preferred.
· Experience in classroom instruction and management preferred.
· Experience supervising adult students/workers in an educational/training setting preferred.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills essential.
· Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
· Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
