Manage the day-to-day operations of the admissions cycle, including uploading data, running reports, scheduling admissions meetings, and troubleshooting the admissions program as needed

Job Description

Prepare annual data as needed for Deans, Directors, Trustees, and Development

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Admissions office including scheduling events, overseeing logistics, and student and applicant communications

Working with the Associate Dean and Director of Admission, plan training and information sessions for faculty, students, and applicants

Advise applicants as needed. Coordinate the admissions process for the applicants in the early decision category.

Create marketing materials, including the admissions website, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, and other materials as needed

Plan, coordinate, and manage the Penn Preview three-day revisit program.

Coordinate events co-sponsored by the IDEAL MEd office

Schedule and staff meetings as needed

Attend off-campus recruitment events and other meeting trips as needed

Coordinate and manage all facets of the virtual interview program

Perform additional duties as assigned

Faculty interview panel availability and sign up

Review student class schedules for availability

Set interview dates based on the above

Plan interview training session on behalf of the Associate Dean for Admissions

Schedule faculty and student interviewer dates

Coordinate interview day talks and activities with faculty and staff

Faculty orientation

Interview day presenters (Class experience)

Perelman Student Meet & Greet

Monthly Interview Reconnect Sessions

Interview Ambassadors

Manage all interview day logistics to ensure the virtual program runs smoothly and stays on schedule.

Advise prospective students and current applicants in the admissions process and policies on the phone, in person, and via email

Assist with managing the applicant database and maintaining records to ensure accuracy. Develop and import content

Work with an AMP rep to resolve system issues

Create and run reports using Business Objects

BA/BS and 2-3 years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
