Description/Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Budgets, Contracts and Operational Services this position provides payroll and general clerical support to the Department of Budgets, Contracts and Operational Services to ensure timely payroll processing for adjunct faculty and WDCE contractual staff.

Under the direction of the Director of Budgets, Contracts and Operational Services this position provides payroll and general clerical support to the Department of Budgets, Contracts and Operational Services to ensure timely payroll processing for adjunct faculty and WDCE contractual staff.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Coordinates the contractual employee contact process by entering contract requests into the PEACE System, distributing the contracts to employees, and returning the contracts to the contract processing office timely;
- Obtains authorizing signatures on contractual employee agreements prior to implementation;
- Reviews budgets to ensure funding availability;
- Assists with daily budget management of contractual payroll;
- Provides reports as requested elating to outstanding contracts and contract cut-offs;
- Provides payroll assistance for instructors;
- Tracks and monitors contractual timesheets that are submitted to managers for approval;
- Assists with creating and implementing internal controls to ensure compliance as it relates to contractual pays;
- Trains managers and other staff on the WDCE payroll process;
- Enters bi-weekly timesheets into the system to track contractual hours;
- Informs managers on contractual employees who do not have enough hours on their timesheets;
- Cooperate with staff from other divisions in supporting WDCE and college-wide activities;
- Other related duties as assigned.
- AA degree in related field with
- at least 3 years’ experience in higher education.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5 years’ experience in higher education
