Assistant Professor of Sports Management

The Frost School of Business at Centenary College of Louisiana invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Sports Management. This appointment is expected to begin in Fall 2023. Candidates who have outstanding teaching and research skills, and seek to contribute to the distinctive mission of a private, liberal arts institution are encouraged to apply. Salaries and teaching loads are comparable to small, private institutions. Tenure and promotion will be based on a balanced commitment to teaching, research, and service.

The Assistant Professor in Sports Management teaches various sports management and business courses at the undergraduate level; advises and plans undergraduate student coursework selections; and provides scholarly work in the sports management or a related field.

The Assistant Professor also serves in faculty governance via various committee assignments and participates in Frost School of Business events and activities with faculty and students.

Applicants must complete doctoral degree requirements in Sports Management or a related field before the start of the contract period.
