Position Summary: Wingate University is seeking applicants to fill several part-time, adjunct teaching positions in the areas below. These part time positions will primarily teach in-person classes on our main campus unless otherwise specified.

Exercise Science Duties/Responsibilities:

● Teach undergraduate courses in Exercise Science and/or Wellness

○ Courses include: Introduction to Resistance Training, Fitness Promotion and

Assessment, Applied Nutrition, Motor Control and Learning, Psychology of Sport and

Exercise, Exercise Physiology, Principles of Strength and Conditioning, Exercise

Prescription, Personal Fitness and Wellness

● Regular, predictable attendance on campus

● Alignment with University mission, vision, and strategic roadmap

● Other job duties/responsibilities may be assigned

Education and Experience: Ideal candidates will have a master’s degree, 18 graduate hours in the discipline and college teaching experience. Experience with learning management system (Ie. Canvas) and content development tools such as Zoom, Snagit, Camtasia and other e-learning tools is preferred.
