Lecturer in Computer Science

Elon University’s Department of Computer Science invites applications for a full-time, lecture track position beginning mid-August 2023. Applications are welcome from all areas of specialization within Computer Science.

Applicants must have at least a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field prior to the start date. Lecture track faculty are expected to teach seven courses per year and are encouraged to mentor students in experiences that may include projects, internships, and undergraduate research.

Teaching will include courses within the major, with the possibility to develop advanced special topics courses and courses in the Elon Core Curriculum. Candidates who have experience working with a diverse range of people, and who can contribute to the climate of inclusivity are encouraged to identify their experiences in their cover letter.
