The Harraz laboratory in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position, available immediately, to study the neurobiology of addiction. The Harraz lab uses multidisciplinary approaches (pharmacology, chemoproteomics, molecular biology, genetics, microsurgery, and behavioral models) to investigate the role of proteostasis in cell signaling and its impact on cell and organism biology. Dr. Harraz's recent work has uncovered a novel high-affinity receptor for cocaine and explores the role of autophagic proteostasis in drug abuse and SARS-CoV-2 entry into cells. For more information about the lab, please visit www.theharrazlab.org
