Lecturer-AT, School Psychology

The School of Education (SOE), Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA invites applications for a full-time, fixed-term faculty member at the rank of Lecturer-AT of School Psychology. Responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in the School Psychology Department, participation in Departmental and SOE functions, and supporting the department’s scholarly and civic agendas. Interested candidates would be joining a supportive faculty focused on student development and learning. We seek a candidate who will complement and possibly expand our strengths in areas that support the institutional mission of educating students for lives of leadership and service for the common good. Required Qualifications:

• Doctorate in School Psychology or related field
  • ABD in related field may be considered
• Graduated from an APA or NASP accredited program
• Holds or eligible to hold NCSP credential Eligible to obtain license as psychologist in WA State
• Three (3) years’ experience or more working within a K-12 educational system
• Evidence of working with children, adolescents, and families
• Evidence of effective, collaborative engagement
• Experience working with underrepresented communities, practiced familiarity with underrepresented and first-generation communities of color

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with community stakeholders
• An emerging record of professional accomplishments and service
• Evidence of teaching excellence
• Demonstrated experience teaching individuals with diverse backgrounds, identities, and experiences, and an investment in social justice, equity, and inclusion as evidenced by prior innovative and successful inclusive teaching strategies.
