Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Part-Time KEYS Clerk (Temporary, Grant-Funded) position. The Part-Time KEYS Clerk is responsible for providing clerical, data entry and scheduling for the KEYS program.

*This is a temporary grant paid position and is contingent upon grant funding.

**This position has college-wide responsibilities and requires travel between all campuses and off-site

locations. This position will primarily be located at the Blue Bell campus.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides clerical support for Program Coordinator/ Director and program staff.

• Assists in creation of print materials, creates various mailings, and maintains and orders supplies for KEYS

staff.

• Assists with the entry of student data into Department of Public Welfare CWDS system.

• Assists with the tracking of attendance documents for program compliance and incentive program.

• Maintains student databases.

• Creates and documents requisitions and purchase orders.

• Provides telephone contact and administrative backup for the KEYS program.

• Assist program staff with scheduling appointments, classrooms and workshops.

• Provides assistance in preparing state reports.

• Performs related duties as assigned.

 

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

1. Education/Training/Work Experience:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required

• Six months directly applicable experience preferred

• Communication and computer skills

2. Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge of office equipment

• Customer service experience

3. Additional Information Required:

• Ability to multitask

• Attention to detail

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• Ability to prioritize workload

• Ability to work within a team-oriented setting
