As the Senior Executive Assistant for the Vice Chancellor, you will
join a dynamic team and play a key role in supporting day-to-day
operations, overseeing complex and strategic scheduling and high
level relationship management, and serving as the point of contact
for the Vice Chancellor with key internal and external
stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have excellent judgment, including
discretion and confidentiality when required. From scheduling
meetings and optimizing travel to synthesizing information and
reports, you’ll be key to ensuring our executives and team members
can make the most of every minute.
Job duties include:
Performing complex or long-term assignments at the request of
the Vice Chancellor.
Providing staff support for external events including, but not
limited to, donor recognition and fundraising activities.
Managing advancement travel logistics for the Vice Chancellor,
including booking travel and compiling pre-meeting briefing
materials.
Serving as liaison to the Office of the President for donor
travel logistics and Advancement event requests
Assisting with data entry and data management on a variety of
monthly donor prospect reports.
Compiling research and materials necessary for meetings or
conferences.
Creating materials for publication or presentation by the Vice
Chancellor.
Acting as liaison between Vice Chancellor’s office and major
external and internal constituents.
Compiling information related to fiscal operations by analyzing
past requirements and activities, projecting future needs, and
preparing written justification of financial requests.
Providing administrative functions such as calendar management,
phone answering, meeting scheduling and additional support as
needed.
Answering questions over and above routine office
inquiries.
Briefing supervisors on subject matters for upcoming
meetings.
Acting as recording secretary in meetings chaired by the Vice
Chancellor
Providing leadership on special projects in the Vice
Chancellor’s office

Compensation starting at $58,000 annually

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and
experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable
knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and
experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be
acquired is necessary. Four to five years of related experience in
business administration, personnel administration, higher education
administration or public relations is necessary.
