Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Health Occupations Manager this position instructs and leads several sections of the Nursing Assistant Program and related Continuing Education courses offered in the Health Careers department.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience : Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and minimum of three years full-time equivalent related experience and/or training is required.

Required License and/or Certifications :
• A current, unencumbered professional nursing license in Idaho.
• Ability to attain Quality Matters (APPQMR) certificate within six months of hire.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Demonstrated knowledge of Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA), Idaho Career & Technical Education Nursing Assistant Curriculum, Idaho Board of Nursing rules regarding unlicensed personnel and Department of Health & Welfare.
• Ability to conduct effective training and presentations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient skills using Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to operate standard office equipment including phone, fax, copier
