Colgate University, a top-ranked liberal arts college, is seeking two (2) Senior Regional Advancement Directors/Regional Advancement Directors. Founded in 1819, Colgate is a small, highly selective residential liberal arts college for students of talent who are preparing for lives of leadership and productive citizenship. The University recently launched a $1B campaign in support of theThird-Century Plan, a comprehensive roadmap that will advance Colgate’s efforts to pursue its mission at the highest level and establish Colgate as one of the finest undergraduate institutions in the nation. One of the components—the Plan for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion ( DEI )— stands as Colgate’s most definitive plan in 200 years for elevating the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the institution. Accountabilities
Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with major gift prospects and donors as assigned to increase levels of engagement, annual giving and campaign support utilizing effective prospect qualification, cultivation and solicitation strategies.

Responsible for demonstrating respect for people and their differences, as well as the benefits of a diverse workforce, and the value of open and collegial dialogue.

Responsible for effectively accessing and navigating relevant technology systems used in advancement, and utilizing data as a resource in decision-making while maintaining respect for the security of private or confidential information. Responsible for developing strong working relationships with Office of Advancement colleagues, University administrators, faculty and staff to professionally address both opportunities and concerns.

Accountable for meeting performance metrics established by the Office of Advancement, including visits and virtual connections, proposal submissions and yield, dollar goals, and effective stewardship contacts to monitor and support relationships. Professional Experience/ Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in private college advancement is highly desirable with preference to those with a proven track record in garnering philanthropic support Education
