To exercise some judgment to comply with safety and sanitation regulations and computerized Food Service System. Qualifications

Ability to read, write, do simple math, use calculator, food thermometer, communicate clearly and follow instructions is necessary.

Job Specific Qualifications
Maintain storage areas in clean and orderly condition (loading docks, dumpster, freezers, storeroom areas, copiers, etc.)

Rotate and date stock so that items are used before expiration.

Monitor usage, take inventory, and report to supervisor to keep inventory at predetermined level.

Check deliveries against order forms and delivery documents.

Refer all problems with deliveries to supervisor.

Move items from storage areas to kitchen as directed.

Maintain the highest standards of sanitation to prevent contamination or other loss of food.

Follow recycling guidelines as put forth by government regulations.

Record temperatures for freezers and coolers.

Work as food handler or non-food handler as required. Physical Requirements
Lifting between 15 – 30 lbs daily. Must be able to work with dust, fumes and solvents daily, bending, stooping daily. Tools/Equipment Application Instructions
