Dynamic and vibrant, Durham University Business School is one of Durham University's four Faculties and is comprised of four research-intensive departments: Accounting, Economics, Finance, and Management and Marketing. The Faculty of Business, with a centralised Learning and Teaching team that support four academic departments, seek a Learning and Teaching Manager. This exciting role will manage the delivery of undergraduate programmes, aligning activities to meet operational objectives from the point of student enrolment through to graduation. The Learning and Teaching Manager will be part of the Learning and Teaching administrative leadership team and will, along with the Senior Learning and Teaching Manager and two Learning and Teaching Managers, work flexibly to support this management team as required. The team are passionate, fun and they support each other on a daily basis, the team is at the heart of the student experience.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about working with students, making a difference and achieving results. You are a brilliant communicator, have good time management skills and enjoy multi-tasking. You have a capacity to synthesize complex ideas and to analyse and improve procedures with meticulous attention to detail. You have a focus on continuous improvement and the drive to get things done.

The post holder will work closely with the Learning and Teaching Management team, Directors of Education, Programme Directors and Chair's of Boards of Examiners. They are also required to build and maintain excellent working relationships with a range of people, including staff in the Faculty and across the institution to develop a deep understanding of Faculty and University policy and developments.
