The Questrom School of Business at Boston University seeks to hire a non-tenure-track Clinical Assistant Professor trained in Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, or Technology Management. The anticipated start date for this faculty position is July 1, 2023.

We seek outstanding candidates who have a passion for teaching and would be comfortable in, stimulated by, and engaged with both graduate and undergraduate students as well as corporate partners. Candidates with relevant experience in industry are encouraged to apply. Faculty will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in all areas of Operations and Technology Management.

The Questrom School of Business is rebuilding its faculty with expertise in digital transformation of operations, operations analytics, improving organizational performance, and business model innovation. The strengths of the Questrom School and its connection to the local business community in Boston present a unique and exciting opportunity to develop a cross-disciplinary research agenda in operations analytics, supply chain management, and technology management.

Required Skills

Candidates must have a PhD in a field such as operations research, operations analytics, supply chain, operations or technology management. The successful candidate upon hiring will have an appointment in the Operations & Technology Management at the Questrom School of Business.
