Builds and maintains relationships and partnerships with community members, organizations, businesses, government officials, and other entities; coordinates outreach activities; leads cross-departmental Outreach Team.  Maintain a calendar of outreach activities, including community events, workshops, appearances, and future opportunities. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Library Services, prepare an annual budget for community outreach activities.  Seeks out collaborative opportunities within the community and maintains relationships with local businesses and organizations.  Designs the service plan for outreach activities; develops and implements activities to meet strategic plan goals for outreach and community engagement; prepares reports; gathers and provides feedback to the management team on partnerships, outreach, and community relations activities; explores grant opportunities. Develops, arranges, hosts, and evaluates library-wide events and community engagement opportunities; works with other departments to coordinate programs, events, and activities; assists with other departments’ outreach efforts as needed. Develops, arranges, hosts, and evaluates library-wide events and community engagement opportunities; works with other departments to coordinate programs, events, and activities; assists with other departments’ outreach efforts as needed. Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Public & Information Services or Director of Library Services, such as workshops and training (both in-person and virtual).
