The Department of Physical and Biological Sciences at Columbia College seeks an adjunct instructor within Day program for the Spring 2023 16-week semester to teach Clinical Microbiology lecture and two lab sections (7 hours total). This class is a survey of microorganisms with emphasis on clinically important bacteria, viruses, protozoa, fungi and invertebrates and emphasis on the health care applications of microbiology and transmission of infectious disease agents.
Minimum qualifications include a Master's Degree in Biology, Microbiology, or related fields with lab experience in microbiology required. College teaching experience preferred. Graduate Transcripts must be submitted with application materials.
