Program Director of the Inclusive Leadership Program - (3000)

Position Summary

The Program Director of the Inclusive Leadership Program will be part of the Division of Academic Diversity, Equity and Inclusion ( ADEI ). ADEI leads the charge in establishing an equity-minded community that challenges and eliminates exclusionary systems and practices. The Program Director will report to the Director of Prevention Education and Outreach.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct the division’s multitude of outreach and engagement activities in formal and informal educational environments across the region.
  • Focus on program delivery, operating independently with minimal supervision.
  • Lead the ADEI /Innovation Inclusive Leadership Program.
Minimum Required Qualifications (Civil Service)

  2. Three (3) years of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion program development, delivery and evaluation which may include experience as team lead/project manager that includes supervision of staff and experience managing multiple budgets and understands revenue generation.

· Knowledge and experience working on diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
· Demonstrable skills in managing grants and contracts including working with funders, teams and producing deliverables on time and within budget.

· Ability to assess and then meet external client needs and contracts
· Ability to lead teams, producing results within deadlines and within budget.
· Ability to maintain an organized work implementation schedule, focusing on results

Exam Details:
  • The Civil Service examination for this classification is a Credentials Assessment, and is based on your application materials as submitted for this posting. A Credential Assessment is a rating by the Human Resources Office of an applicant’s/employee’s education, experience and special credentials/qualifications (licenses, etc.). In order to determine an appropriate rating for each examination, a review of a résumé, cover letter, university/agency official employment application, college transcript, copies of license/certification and any other relevant material may be required.
