Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Vice
President of Administration and Finance and the Programs
Administrator. Interacts and coordinates with the Programs
Administrator and Executive Assistant on the completion of various
projects and administrative duties. Acts as assistant to the Vice
President of Administration and Finance during the Executive
Assistant's absence.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A.A. Degree preferred.
- A minimum of three years of office-related work experience or approved combination of experience and education.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to operate routine office equipment such as multi-line telephone system, computer, copier, scanner, and/or other office equipment and office technology.
- Ability to use own initiative to locate and resolve problems.
- Ability to edit own work and proofread correspondence.
- Good working of all basic language skills; i.e., spelling, punctuation, grammar, and business English.
- Ability to interact effectively with others to determine needs and support requirements.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Regular attendance is a requirement of this job.
- Performs all duties while considering the impact of any actions on the college's sustainability initiatives in the areas of environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic prosperity.
