Clark Atlanta University (CAU) seeks a distinguished scholar with proven administrative, strategic, and collaborative leadership skills to serve as its next provost and chief academic officer.

This individual must be an outstanding scholar, leader, and administrator who is collaborative, visionary, and strategic. Reporting to the President, the provost will lead a dynamic group of faculty, staff, and students, propelling CAU forward as an exemplary institution. The provost must be an innovative leader who is committed to faculty and student success, a passionate champion to lead the university’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, an exceptional communicator who is skillful at building relationships with internal and external partners, a savvy and insightful organizational leader, and promoter of exceptional research throughout the university.
