Job Summary: SUNY Brockport is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Director, Academic Initiatives & Living Learning Communities. The person in this role is responsible for implementing the Living Learning Communities, Residential Curriculum, departmental assessment, supervising professional staff members, and leading our Living Learning Communities advisory board. Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration, College
Student Personnel, education or a related field by time of
appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S.
Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or
university.
- At least 3 years full-time professional experience in
Residential Life.
- Demonstrated experience developing and measuring student
learning and programmatic outcomes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Evidence of commitment to creating an inclusive environment and
demonstrated experience managing crisis situations and supporting
students of concern.
Preferred Qualifications: - Live-in residence experience; experience working with
faculty.
- Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
- Crisis management/on-call experience.
- Supervision of full-time professional staff; demonstrated
experience with Living Learning Communities; evidence of experience
with a residential curriculum; minimum one year supervision of
professional staff; and experience with residence hall association
development and implementation.
Work Schedule: Mondays - Fridays, 8am - 4pm, some nights and weekends required Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary is $54,625. May be benefits eligible; more information at Careers@Brockport. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
