The Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine at the University of Washington, School of Medicine is recruiting for two (2) full-time faculty members at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor rank (without tenure due to funding) in the Section of Electrophysiology. Salary and academic appointment at University of Washington will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and academic rank. Assistant Professors WOT are eligible for multi-year appointments and Associate Professors WOT and Professors (WOT) hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Clinical activities will include catheter ablation of atrial and ventricular arrhythmia and/or lead extraction. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, scholarship and medical education.  Teaching duties will include attending on the EP consult service, didactic instruction and instruction in the electrophysiology lab.  The anticipated start date will be January 2, 2023.

Applicants must have an MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and be board certified/eligible in electrophysiology (or foreign equivalent).  Successful candidates must have an academic track record with evidence of publications. In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-US) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
