Job Description

• Provide and coordinate tours for potential students, parents, alumni, donors and other groups
• Coordinate PR events, both internally and externally
• Support and coach students and staff on published materials
• Travel with Student Design Teams to national and international competitions as required
• Coach and guide energetic, high performing student to achieve their goals through experiential learning
• Assist in design team procurement opportunities
• Coordinate special events as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in photography
• Demonstrated savvy in the latest social media and programs in order to maintain Design Center promotional materials including website, social media and printed materials
• Excellent verbal communication and marketing in a variety of settings including individual and group tours, interaction with competition organizers and officials and a proven track record of significant relationship developed with personnel within competition organization such as ASME, SAE, Innovators International, and a variety of others
• Demonstrated ability to exhibit a gifted leadership style in terms of student interaction
• Ability to partner with students to find optimum solutions to a variety of challenges and perceived crises
• Strong networking and relationship building skills
• Ability to enhance the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the team
• Experience in truck and trailer operation
