FACULTY POSITION

DEPARTMENT OF SURGERY, DIVISION OF THORACIC SURGERY

The University of Maryland seeks candidates to join the full-time faculty of the Division of Thoracic Surgery at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. Candidates should be board certified in Cardiothoracic surgery or currently in training in an accredited Cardiothoracic fellowship program. Responsibilities will include clinical care of thoracic surgery and lung transplant patients, education of students, residents, and cardiothoracic surgery fellows. Candidates should have a clear plan for academic development and scholarly activity that is consistent with the mission of the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Opportunities for basic and clinical research are available for appropriate and interested candidates.
