Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The PT Analyst I will be responsible for administering, maintaining and auditing the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) information. Will audit the data to ensure data integrity, run custom queries/reports and compile various reports as needed. The Analyst I will maintain and audit position management data and job records for data integrity in the HCM system. In addition, the Analyst I will oversee the HRIS project list and maintain the department process and procedure documentation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Provides advice, guidance, and information to end users with regards to the querying, reporting, and maintenance of HCM information
  2. Runs reports, communicates, and maintains data for a variety of employee eligibility processes
  3. Develops and distributes periodic standard reports and public queries for information requests
  4. Assists in ensuring data integrity of HCM by performing audit functions on a regular basis
  5. Assists in the development of user guides and documentation for HRIS and other systems
  6. Serves as a resource to the HR Records team for verifying, obtaining, and tracking transcripts
  7. Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient with common office software; advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database programs such as Microsoft Excel/Access and other reporting software
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of HR Systems such as PeopleSoft
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

WORK SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS:
  • Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment
  • Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position
  • Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in Human Resources or HRIS
Salary

Hourly Pay Rate is $18.20
