Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Manager, Enrollment Marketer Honors and International Education is a member of the Honors and International Education (HIE) leadership team and works with the AVC, Director of International Programs and other internal and external stakeholders to provide management, planning, developing and evaluating HIE communications and outreach. This position is responsible for HIE’s recruiting operations, expanding on existing strategies and on consumer engagement. This position will engage in marketing and data analysis for regular reporting and further strategizing. Assigned area and responsibilities will be extensive and/or highly specialized. May be responsible for the success of assigned area, ensuring smooth and efficient operations as well as compliance with policies, procedures and a variety of local, state and federal regulations. Coordinates logistics, services and support surrounding assigned, making and communicating process decisions based on best practices.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Oversees daily and long-term communications, outreach, and reporting operations of the Honors and International Education Office
  2. Performs research relevant to assigned areas of responsibility, develops, monitors and maintains a variety of spreadsheets, databases, reports, and presents findings to internal/external constituents
  3. Using relevant market analysis, develops HIE recruitment, marketing and outreach plans, including enrollment analysis and reporting
  4. Assists with managing communication workflow related to recruitment and yield activities, alumni relations and community outreach
  5. Supports training by developing and organizing department training materials and activities, assists in creation of staff schedules
  6. Engage with university and community partners to develop programs and partnerships that support enrollment
  7. Creates methods of evaluation, analyzes results and makes revision recommendations for continuous program improvement, may takes part in or lead the development of new programs
  8. Manages the recruitment CRM, including filter and query development, event and registration page creation, and database management; collaborates with outside consultants to develop customized content, as well as ensure overall system performance and integration
  9. Supports compliance reporting for HIE-related databases and for internal audits
  10. Actively maintains up-to-date knowledge of area and acts as a Subject Matter Expert, point of contact, and area liaison for internal and external constituents
  11. Ensure overall program quality and performance, meet enrollment goals and achieve strategic priorities
  12. Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Excellent knowledge of different marketing and communication strategies and related tools Eg: Constant Contact
  • Strong writing skills and ability to create marketing and social media content
  • Ability to prepare and analyze reports
  • Excellent knowledge of general office and software applications
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to accuracy and detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize duties
  • Ability to establish cooperative working relationships in the course of preforming assigned duties
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a demanding work environment with a high level of customer service
  • Ability to assume responsibility for independent actions
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidential information
  • Knowledge of recruiting for specialty programs (e.g., honors, international, or related special student programming)
PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

WORK SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS:
  • Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment
  • Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position
  • Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with Data analysis and Query Writing
  • Experience developing digital marketing and social media content
  • Experience working in marketing and outreach
  • Experience using SharePoint
  • Experience working with CRM or other database management systems
Salary

Hiring salary range is $63,014 - $72,466.

Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all posted full-time non-faculty positions. Where your salary offer would fall in that range is determined by your related experience and education. Should you receive an offer of employment from Lone Star College, the resume submitted in the application process will be utilized to calculate your salary offer.
