Brief Summary of Work for this Position
  • Manages a portfolio of innovation and entrepreneurial programs for community entrepreneurs and UNCW students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
  • Leads management and execution of individual CIE programs and special events including program content, sponsorship, presenters, and partners. Examples include, but are not limited to, YEPex and Global Entrepreneurship Week.
  • Ensures program rules and regulations are interpreted correctly.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

  • Ability to develop and manage a program/project plan
  • Ability to administer and/or manage a program with established guidelines and standards in its entirety or several components of a multi-faceted program.
  • Ability to ensure program/project accountability
  • Ability to define scope, goals, tasks, deliverables, timelines, tools, and resources.
  • Ability to assess the needs of the work unit or project
  • Ability to perform professional program administrative duties, including technical decisions
  • Ability to oversee marketing and public relations strategies and functions
