The Harvard Kennedy School invites applications for lecturer-track positions in the teaching of economics, with at least one position focused on the economics of international development. We seek candidates with a demonstrated track record of teaching excellence and a commitment to the teaching of economic concepts to professional degree program students. The ability to convey conceptual as well as practical knowledge and commitment to the public service mission of Harvard Kennedy School are crucial.

Preference will be given to candidates who combine technical expertise in economics with relevant teaching or policy and practice experience. A doctorate in economics or related field is strongly preferred.  The initial appointment is for three years with the possibility of renewal.
