Overview:

Quinnipiac University invites applications for a new Student Outreach and Data Manager position. In this role, you will serve as the system administrator in support of The Learning Commons' use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system ( Ellucian CRM Advise) based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The incumbent will play a key role in supporting ongoing work in Learning Commons data analytics and subsequent development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their workflows. The Student Outreach and Data Manager collaborates with staff and faculty, providing technological support and assistance to ensure the CRM system effectively supports communication strategies for early alert, advising, and student retention.

This position will report to the Director of Academic Development and Outreach.

  • Maintain users, teams, and assigned security roles
  • Monitor workflows daily
  • Build and monitor communication plans
  • Build and monitor conditions and indicators
  • Build and update reports
  • Build and monitor alert rules
  • Build and monitor student, faculty, and advisor experiences
  • Build and update user training resources
  • Troubleshoot user needs and manage Thrive email inbox
  • Triage and distribute incoming referrals to appropriate TLC staff
  • Update extended student advising rosters
  • Other duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master's degree preferred
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of one year working with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred) in a professional license role (i.e. Communications Manager, Success Manager, System Administrator)
  • Proven track record of successful project management and working in a remote work environment
  • Demonstrated experience delivering e-learning courses٫ workshops and other trainings
  • Experience in a higher education setting is preferred
  • Ability to examine, synthesize, and report on information effectively
  • Experience with a CRM (Microsoft Dynamics a plus)
  • Knowledge of ERP (Ellucian Colleague a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
