Position Summary

The Office of E-learning leads Dallas College’s Learning Management System (LMS), creates certification courses, and distributes digital products to promote student, faculty, and staff success.

The Senior Manager of E-learning Projects will support the Effectiveness & Enhancement area of E-learning to support planning projects and communication with multiple stakeholders for projects. This role will support with project guidance, reports, and leadership in the delivery of services based on functional area of focus ensuring that organizational/district initiatives are met.

• Ability to gather, compile, and analyze data/information and prepare reports as requested.
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple assignments and projects, create detailed actions plans, as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and directions.
• Ability to work in ambiguous situations; take a high-level assignment and work the details to produce desired outcome. Document and analyze project activities in a way that the process is continually improving.

Minimum Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field and two (2) years' experience in any of the following areas: project management in an education setting working with several stakeholders at once, managing academic programming, or online programs (preferred).
• Must have a current driver’s license for off-site travel.
• Official transcript will be required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Plan projects, manage the creation and execution of various deliverables, and work with all projects related resources including but not limited to establishing and managing effective partnerships with project partners and key stakeholders, quality and cohesion of training, networking and project output, reporting of financial and operational progress.
• Actively listens and responds constructively to stakeholders and/or team member’s ideas or concerns regarding project. Maintains confidentially related to project, as applicable and exhibits strong interpersonal, communication and diplomacy skills.
• Displays high competency in project management, working in a fast-paced and complex environment, execution of large projects, and working under multiple and competing deadlines.
• Acts as a trusted advisor, inspires confidence, and models integrity in decisions, communication, and treatment of all individuals internal/external to the college community. Protects the privacy and confidentiality of employees, students, and others.
• Creates a work environment that embraces and appreciates diversity.
• Maximizes efficiencies, streamlines workflows, and ensures the highest quality product is delivered on time.
• Monitors and updates the status of assigned duties and communicates progress to leadership.
• Create, review, and provide report data for various projects as assigned including directly/indirectly manage a budget as assigned, if applicable.
• Delivers exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.
• Complies with Dallas College accessibility policies and federal accessibility laws.
• Completes required Dallas College Professional Development training hours per academic year.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
