Position Description
Accompany in lessons and have weekly rehearsals with assigned singers. Work with them in preparation for juries, auditions, and performances. Must be available for Studio Class (masterclass by faculty) on Tuesday/Thursday morning and/or Friday afternoon.
Possible additional opportunities to play for classes, productions, and Continuing Education courses.

Position Requirements
- Previous experience as a rehearsal or classroom accompanist in Musical Theater required.
- Demonstrated excellent sight-reading skills needed. Transposition of music; composing or improvising music; and transcribing music from recordings are plus.
- Demonstrated proficiency and sensitivity in working on different styles and periods of music, composers, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate appropriate, collegial relationships with faculty, students, and staff.
- Demonstrated experience/ability to be attentive and engaged while working with students, and able to accommodate students’ diversity, supporting equity.
- Master’s degree in piano or collaborative piano preferred.
